3. History
- Often the most obvious résumé content, history refers to your experiences and accomplishments.
- However, Ms. Okoh challenged attendees to move beyond listing tasks—focus instead on outcomes and relevance.
4. Knowledge
- Your skills, education, and professional training.
- Even if you and a colleague studied the same course at the same school, the way you apply your knowledge is unique to you—that uniqueness is your edge.
5. Attraction
- Presence, charisma, and confidence matter—even on paper.
- Use design elements like whitespace and formatting, and powerful verbs like “initiated” or “led” to showcase initiative and energy.
6. Will
- The most important of all. Your determination, courage, and drive determine how far you go.
- Will was given the highest weight in Ms. Okoh’s power scale, because without it, all the other attributes might not be fully activated.

- Keep it concise: Two pages or less. Anything longer is an essay.
